By keeping otoplastics clean, you can avoid some annoying situations. First, you will prevent clogging of the filter and sound channel of the otoplastics. A blockage blocks the sound completely and renders the set attenuation useless. It also cuts out ventilation, which could encourage ear congestion. Secondly, you avoid dirty earplugs getting into your ear canals which could cause infections. Tympro has some cleaning products in its range with which otoplastics can be hygienically maintained.
A cleaning set consists of a double-bottomed container, a bellows and 8 effervescent tablets. Place the otoplastics and an effervescent tablet in the container with lukewarm water. After half an hour, the earwax can be removed using the bellows.
A box of extra effervescent tablets that can be used in the cleaning kit. Dissolved in water, these effervescent tablets help soften earwax trapped in the canal of the otoplasty, making it easily removable with the bellows. Each box contains 20 effervescent tablets.
Tympro's cleaning wipes are designed to clean and disinfect otoplastics on the outside. Tympro recommends daily cleaning with these wipes to prevent ear infections. The wipes are offered in multiples of 250.
Store your precious otoplastics in this storage pouch as soon as you no longer have them in. This is more hygienic than putting them away elsewhere and you are less likely to lose them. The case features an internal keychain loop and there is extra space for some wet wipes and a cerumen pen.
This little instrument allows you to remove excess earwax or other debris from the sound channel of the otoplastics. A sufficiently open canal is important for good sound permeability and correct attenuation.
In general, we recommend daily use of the wet wipes and weekly use of the cleaning set with active oxygen tablets. Obviously, this also depends on the person. The one user produces more earwax than the next. There are also major differences between different sectors. For example, in the metal industry, the otoplastics will get dirty more quickly. In the food sector, on the other hand, stricter hygiene requirements apply and the otoplastics will have to be cleaned more quickly.
A cleaning set consists of a cleaning cup with filter, a bellows and 8 cleaning tablets with active oxygen. You place a cleaning tablet in a cup. Then place the filter in the cup on which you place your set of otoplastics. Now fill the cup with water and let it fizz for several hours. Finally, place the bellows on the filter and blow the moisture out of the otoplastics. The product specialist will demonstrate this action when delivering the otoplastics.
