Privacy Statement Tympro Hearing Protection

Tympro Hearing Protection BV believes that protecting the privacy of its customers, of users of its products and services, of visitors to its websites and of its business associates is essential to its operations.

Tympro Hearing Protection therefore adheres to the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (AVG); as a data controller for the processing of personal data, the purpose and means of which it determines itself, and as a processor for the processing of personal data that it carries out for its clients.

Who we are.

Tympro Hearing Protection B.V., established in Breda (4817 ZB), Heusing 1 trading as Tympro Hearing Protection, Tympro, dOb Hearing Protection, dOb and its affiliated entities including Tympro Hearing Protection Belgium BVBA

(hereinafter referred to as Tympro).

This Privacy Policy applies to our data processing operations including those carried out through our websites.

Purposes of data processing

We process your personal data for the following purposes:

  • when entering into and performing agreements relating to our products and services, we record your surname, first name, date of birth and email address;
  • for the purpose of registration and maintenance of customised products, we will store your surname, first name, date of birth, e-mail address and product data;
  • when performing audiometric examinations, we record the data from the personal questionnaire and the results of the examination in addition to your surname, first name, date of birth and e-mail address.
  • in order to contact you if you have requested it, we record your name, e-mail address and telephone number;
  • for the purpose of managing client relationships and communicating about our services or products, including by sending a newsletter, we record your name and e-mail address;
  • when granting access to and using the functionalities on the Tympro website, we record your IP address.

Legal grounds for processing your personal data

The legal basis for the purposes of processing referred to above lies in:

  • The consent given by you
  • Taking preparatory measures at your request for the purpose of and/or the execution of the agreement concluded with you
  • Compliance with legal obligations
  • The representation of the legitimate interests of Tympro.

You can object to this processing on the basis of the right to object. More information on this right can be found further on in this statement.

How long we keep data

Tympro will not retain personal data for longer than is strictly necessary for the purpose of processing or required by law.

Confidentiality

Tympro does not share your personal data with third parties unless you have given your explicit consent, this is necessary for the performance of the agreement, to comply with any legal obligation and/or if it has a legitimate interest to do so. With companies that process your data on our behalf, we conclude a Processor Agreement to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data.

Your privacy rights

You have the right to access your personal data. If you want to know what personal data Tympro processes about you, you can submit a written request for inspection, which will be processed within a reasonable period (30 days).

Does it turn out that your data is incorrect, incomplete or irrelevant? Then you can make an additional request to have your data changed or supplemented.

You can, in a number of cases, ask for your data to be deleted or erased.

If you want to receive the (digital) personal data processed about you, you can invoke your right to data portability. This means that you will be provided with your data in a form in which, should you wish to do so, you can easily pass it on to another organisation.

Finally, you can request to restrict or object to the processing of your data.

You can send a request for inspection, correction or deletion to kam@tympro.com. To make sure that the request for inspection is made by you, we ask you to enclose your IP address and a copy of your identity document with the request. We strongly advise you to make the BSN number and passport photo invisible and to add that it is a copy.

Security

Tympro provides appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure a risk-appropriate level of security and to counter abuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised modification. If you have the impression that your data is not properly secured or there are indications of misuse, please contact Tympro at kam@tympro.com.

Modification of privacy statement

We may amend our privacy statement. We will make an announcement of this change on our website.
