Pairing with the walkie-talkie
There are many people who use walkie-talkies in the workplace to communicate with their colleagues. To communicate safely amid noise, users can connect the walkie-talkie with their otoplastics via a universal air hose. Separate connectors have been designed to connect the air hose with the Tympro Sound Safe and the Tympro Orange. The filter of the otoplastics filters out noise and lets the sound from the walkie-talkie in safely.
The unique connector PR1224 was designed for the Tympro Orange. This coupling piece fits any universal air hose on one side and is installed in the place of the Orange filter on the other side. The Orange filter is then repositioned on the coupler itself. Sound coming from the walkie-talkie enters the ear canal unfiltered and clear, while ambient noise enters filtered. The coupling piece and air hose can be purchased together or separately.

The filters of the Tympro otoplastics have been developed to allow speech understanding even for wearers who do not necessarily need to be electronically accessible. The Tympro Sound Safe and the Tympro Orange each have a specific filter that allows speech intelligibility.
Tympro Orange are professional custom-made earplugs that feature a large-surface breathable membrane filter. This attenuating membrane is designed to allow sound to pass through as naturally as possible. The natural transmission of sound benefits the understanding of complex speech sounds as there is less distortion.
